The Pillar Network is a newly founded non-profit organization that exists to support and promote church planting efforts in North America. Formed with the goal of maintaining the lowest overhead possible, the objective of The Pillar Network is to help Gospel-driven, Community-focused, and Mission-oriented churches impact the country through planting churches. The Pillar Network relies on the support of businesses, supporting churches, state conventions, and individual contributions to achieve its mission.

Since its organization in 1845 in Augusta, Georgia, the SBC has grown to over 16 million members who worship in more than 45,000 churches in the United States. Southern Baptists sponsor about 5,000 missionaries serving the United States and its territories, Canada, and the Caribbean, as well as sponsoring more than 5,000 foreign missionaries in 153 nations of the world.

They are: Practice fervent prayer; Promote evangelism and disciple-making; Strengthen existing churches; Plant new multiplication churches; Reach North Carolina’s international community; Embrace unreached and unengaged people groups and Engage young church leaders.
